An estimate is a good-faith assessment, not a cap, unless the engagement letter expressly identifies it as fixed or capped.

How much will it cost?

Who will handle my matter?
The counsel you instruct runs the file. The work is not passed down a chain of juniors.
What size of matter do you take on?
Matters typically range from AED 10 million to AED 500 million in value. The firm takes a small number of matters at a time.
Can you act in the onshore UAE courts?
Onshore court work is conducted only through duly authorised local counsel, with the firm coordinating the strategy across every forum.
Do you act for banks?
No. The firm does not act for banks, as a blanket policy.
Do you recognise US, UK or EU sanctions?
The firm applies only the targeted financial sanctions that UAE law requires: the UN Security Council lists and the UAE Cabinet’s local terrorism lists, as published by the Executive Office for Control and Non-Proliferation. It does not undertake to apply US, UK, EU or any other foreign sanctions. It treats them as a risk factor, and it may decline a matter or a payment where acting would expose the firm, its bank, its payment providers or its insurers to restrictive measures.

التقدير تقييمٌ بحُسن نيّة لا سقفٌ للأتعاب، ما لم يَنُصّ خطاب التوكيل صراحةً على أنه ثابت أو محدَّد بسقف.

مَن سيتولّى ملفي؟
يتولّى الملفَّ المستشارُ الذي توكّله، ولا يُحال العمل عبر سلسلة من المحامين المبتدئين.
ما حجم الملفات التي تتولّونها؟
تتراوح قيمة الملفات عادةً بين 10 ملايين و500 مليون درهم، ويتولّى المكتب عدداً محدوداً من الملفات في آنٍ واحد.
هل تترافعون أمام المحاكم المحلية في الدولة؟
يُباشَر العمل أمام المحاكم المحلية حصراً عبر محامين محليين مرخَّصين أصولاً، ويتولّى المكتب تنسيق الاستراتيجية عبر جميع الجهات.
هل تعملون لصالح البنوك؟
لا. لا يعمل المكتب لصالح البنوك، وتلك سياسة عامة.
هل تعترفون بالعقوبات الأمريكية أو البريطانية أو الأوروبية؟
يطبّق المكتب حصراً العقوبات المالية المستهدفة التي يوجبها القانون الإماراتي: قوائم مجلس الأمن التابع للأمم المتحدة وقوائم الإرهاب المحلية الصادرة عن مجلس الوزراء الإماراتي، كما ينشرها المكتب التنفيذي للرقابة وحظر الانتشار. ولا يلتزم بتطبيق العقوبات الأمريكية أو البريطانية أو الأوروبية أو أي عقوبات أجنبية أخرى، بل يعدّها عاملَ مخاطرة، وقد يعتذر عن ملف أو دفعة إذا كان قبولها يعرّض المكتب أو مصرفه أو مزوّدي خدمات الدفع لديه أو شركات التأمين لديه لتدابير تقييدية.
